Title of the thread is misleading but mainly because the second hand story linked to did similar. Basically he was described as the singer with the greatest range they've analysed so far who is not classically trained so long as you include inhaled noises, throat singing and screams as vocalizations (fair game imo). Patton is heavily criticised for the low quality of his low and high notes so while he has the widest range, they note his quality is generally poor. As such their findings should not be distorted as meaning he is the greatest vocalist of all time as it;s similar to saying the Nile is the greatest river because it has the largest delta. There are far more considerations than range. Freddie Mercury for instance has a poor comparable range but greater control and power (and charisma).

What does charisma have to do with with vocals, dipshit? That's like comparing your pathetic fat ass to Lance Armstrong.

Fuckin moog!

No, I did not call the moog a "mook" or a synthesizer. You are an idiot or you would know.
