I know you guys tend to be either love/hate with bands, but I'll throw Twelve Foot Ninja into the mix for decent releases this year. Debut album's coming out in 2 months, and has clear Patton influences all over it. They don't take themselves too seriously (how could you, with a name like that), and mix rock/metal with dub, reggae, yacht rock, electronica, and funk influences.
