album is really growing on me.

best moment on the album...the quiet few @ 1:25. even though the song as a whole isnt in my top 5 it reminds me of fnm.

I'd give this album a strong 8. The lyrics are shit, but it's part of its charm. There is certainly a strong fnm influence especially with tracks like south paw and white hats/black hats. Fun album indeed. I'd rank it above album of the year and mit gas. It can't touch anonymous or s/t though.

Anonymous is completely different from the rest of there repertoire. I love Anonymous myself and it is completely different than the other now 3 that are all bad ass and are on the same level. I personally have them all listed and can listen and appreciate them all in and rotation and mixed together, so I am really not sure what the fuck you are talking about.

Based on what I like, the popularity of the touring, and promotion, I'd have to say you are completely wrong.

Oddfellows isn't a bad record, just rushed. The 10 year gap had a giant part to play not to mention they had to follow up on the excellent s/t and Mit Gas without Kevin....so what did everyone expect? Even Duane bragged how quickly they recorded and put it together. That's their fault and I hope they realise one day just how good Tomahawk really is and spend some more time on the next one.

Tomahawk is here to stay and that's fine with me.

The first two were above average to good, Anonymous was forgettable but Odd Fellows is terrible.

Kinda sucks, thinking about it now, that they would waste a date in Illinois.

Oddfellows was made so Mr Denison could get in on some of that post-FNM reunion spin-off cash.

Chilean tour anyone? Funny, they never toured there before!

Getting bigger and promoting more, yeah Mike has a shit load to do with it. Would you go to Chile to see them? I would. Say...what if you were a bowl of Chili and you were hungry...would you eat yourself?

Tomahawk

s/t - great album beginning to end. i loves to ride my bike to that one. fierce. combative. a classic.

mit gas - this one took a while to grow on me. it's more sophisticated but equally silly. a damn good album. not as good as s/t, but hey put some more parm on my zitti and that will make me smile more

anonymous - pretty good album. different. more of a background music kinda album. forgetable? sure i forget about it sometimes. it's called anonymous for christ's sake. my great grandmother is full blooded Cherokee. I've never gotten a rash from poison ivy. never.

Goodfellows - hell yeah! thanks boys for doing another. Never Done on bas to boot. sure this album is pretty thrown together and hodgepodge, but don't take your fucking self so fucking seriously. this album is playfull and whimsical. go find a dead rotting bird and pull every feather from it. i'm gonna spit piss in your face when i see you in the mosh there buddy.

la viva tomahawk

Who gets to piss in your mouth so you can spit it out? Mike, Trevor? (I hope it is Stanier) Cool, I can't wait to watch that.
