the last line on that page states :

"You can also download the audio portion of this from iTunes. Much props, because while I like watching movie DVDs, I find myself re-listening to albums more frequently than re-watching movies. More labels should do this with their live DVDs."
the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.

I'm saving some money buy recording the CD to minidisc and interspersing each track with random gibberish found between songs on old faith no more bootlegs, then I'm going to play it full blast in my living room with the sub woofer up too loud to hear the bass properly and treble up full and sit at the back of my garden and ask random cunts (neighbours) to stand in front of me so I can't see fuck all (in spite of there being nothing to see). This will be a far more authentic experience that a live dvd/album.

Will any of you be participating in Neil Hamburger's contest?

1. Check into room 101 at the Destiny Inn in Commerce, California.
2. Find Neil Hamburger's autographed room key. (Taped under platform left to bed, see picture)
3. Email the secret code (written on card) to the email address (written on card) along with a scan of the card.
4. Receive ultimate Ipecac Recordings prize package.

It is the greatest concert ever to be documented on film. Purchasing the DVD would enhance your life.

Now go buy the fucking DVD. It's good.

ok... short, choppy, and honest review.

had this thing sitting on my desk for about a week. decided to try to watch last night.
got about 5 songs in (maybe) and had to press stop. pure aggravation. I won't do a
track by track, but that opening track... the fuck? the vocals were in a race with the music.
the godfather of annoying. calm down. my main complaint is... just... do we really need
simulated rain, swirls, and spooky red eyes on a vocalist? do we really need the band members
in cubes? looking like animated comic book heroes? spinning 360 degrees? fucking... has the
almighty internet really diminished all that is left of our attention span to the extent that we
can not just watch a band perform without being tickled and baby-talked (down) to?
have we all turned into babies? is that it?

and that neil hamburger commentary... meh. I chuckled a couple times, but it isn't something
that I could ever watch again. he should have actually got (gotten?) more and more drunk as
the commentary went on and ended his bit with taking the "ddv" (ok, that was funny) out and
vomiting violently upon it. the REAL contest should have been a contest involving grandpas all
over the world, watching the dvd, and reviewing it. I am certain this would have generated waaa
aaay more belly laughs than neil's pitiful attempt. I know... "that's what makes it funny, thinking
it's unfunny! LOL". yeah ok. you know who's going to get a real belly LOL out of this dvd?
the people who work at my local cd/dvd buy, sell, & trade store... when they see it re entering their store.

damn it. this wasn't as short and choppy as I had planned on.

THAAAA'TS MYYY LIIIIIIIFE!
