the amount of material that is going to be released post mortem will be legendary . at least 10 times the content will spew forth . i heard he has 100 songs unreleased that were specified to only be released after he died , to support his kids .

also : legal battles

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/musi ... ttles.html

there will prolly be some scapegoat care giver and doctor that get blackballed for this guys mistakes .

alot of folks feel strongly about this guy , really idolize him .

personally i dont get it at all , never did .

frankly the dude ALWAYS seemed like a creep to me , also it seems that he REALLY went out of his way to prove it .

good riddance .

I think he was in need of serious help. He needed it as a kid and it didn't get it. Remember that the abuse often go on to abuse. I'm not saying for a second that he was guilty of the allegations, but if he did, no one should be surprised.

Also it was quite clear that Jackson was very naive regarding the public perception of him. i think your comments are arrogant and ignorant.

PS. I don't like a single track he ever made.

oh boy , here it comes .

the guy was a creep . doesnt matter what his childhood was like , that doesnt justify anything .

he was a full on creep , wallowed in creepiness , excelled above and beyond to achieve max creepiness . imo .

i am very aware of the fact that MOST folk dont look at him that way , thats what makes me question society .

i knew what i was in for by posting those statements , thank you for helping me prove my point ,
creeplover .

noo .

i am NOT like that at all .

as a matter of fact i have more conversations with strangers of color than with caucasions when i am out and about .

i fix quite a few bikes in my day and haven given away many many free parts to kids , none white .

the coolest neighbors we have ever had , not white .

what i do not like is being judged for being white before i have even met folks , that happens alot . i guess i look like an uber-cracker .

plus i am a huge rudy ray more fan , that helps .

I agree with the General.

Nostalgia be damned. So what if I was 7 and thought "beat it" was the coolest song ever... I got older and he turned into a creepy ghoul by ANY estimation. The more innocent he made himself out to be, the less I believed it. Scary.

I'm not saying it's good that he's dead... but it's hard to be anything but indifferent.

You jackson lovers scare me too.

Nostalgia be damned indeed. I've no hangups on the past - I don't/didn;'t like Jackson or his music. Facts is facts. The mad fucker needed help, was vulnerable and was fuckeed over time and time again, from his father, to the parents of those kids he supposedly fingered.

ok he had zillions of dollars
i think he owned the beatles catalog of music too no?

if HE can't afford help then nobody stands a chance
shit it tough all over, stop rolling over and saying he had to go through so much... it was a fucking lifetime ago.

we only know what we are born into... it's not like he could even imagine what it was like to be raised any other way. I can't imagine being raised how anyone else was and neither can you guys. this life we each have is ALL we know.

again shit is tough all over, but not everyone has theme parks and best friend monkeys to help them through their shit. they have to deal with it reality style.

Michael Jackson's 'Captain EO' re-opening date at Disneyland announced
February 22, 2010

The Disney Parks Blog announced on Friday that a re-opening date for Michael Jackson's 3-D film, Captain EO, has been set. The 17-minute film starring Michael Jackson returns to the Tomorrowland theater at Disneyland in California where it originally debuted on Tuesday, February 23.

Disney representative, Heather Hust Rivera, explained: "While it’s not possible to replicate some special effects elements from the original presentation, it will boast a new 70mm print of the film, and it will sound better than ever thanks to acoustic enhancements made to the theater since the film last played there in 1997."

Although it is billed as a 3-D film, Captain EO is really a 4-D film, utilizing not only spectacular 3-D effects requiring the viewer to where 3-D glasses, but also external in-theater effects including lasers shot over audience members' heads and effects such as smoke and stars coming out of the ceiling and walls. According to Wikipedia, at the time it was the most expensive film ever produced on a per-minute basis, averaging out at $1.76 million per minute.

The film was directed by Francis Ford Coppola and executive produced by George Lucas. The film stars Michael Jackson as Captain EO, the leader of an alien spaceship crew. Captain EO and his crew face destruction from the evil "Supreme Leader" played by Angelica Huston. The film, which could be considered a music video, features two Jackson songs, "Another Part of Me" which later appeared on the Bad album, and "We Are Here to Change the World", which finally appeared on the 2004 compilation, Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection.

The film premiered at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida on September 12, 1986. It debuted six days later at Disneyland and ran continuously through April 1997. Captain EO played in the 500-seat Magic Eye Theater in Disneyland's Tomorrowland. To celebrate the premiere at Disneyland, the park remained open for 36 hours continually and attendees received a souvenier t-shirt. Captain EO was also shown at Disney Parks in Japan and France.

Captain EO, which cost an estimated $30 million to make, is only returning for a limited engagement. There are no current plans to bring Captain EO to any other parks besides Disneyland in California.
