the future looks bleak. I tried listening to that song 10 or 11 times.
it got to the point where I would start it at different points in the song
just hoping it would ignite some type of fire. alas... not even a spark.
I cleaned my ears between listens. I bought super high quality headphones.
I listened to mechanical black thinking it would make anything sound great in comparison.
nope. I threw my hands in the air.

you guys can keep this one.
keep it for and to yourselves.
and faaaaaaaaar away from me.

wow.
It sounds cool to me. I can understand why it was not added to the album.

Life looks bleak for you anyhoooo. Sooooo, why worry about an outtake from a band you don't like?

That's cute n' all, but its not a cover song. Where did you get that idea?

it's just... what I do, I guess.
for example, just this morning I was listening to john cougar's american fool
while I was painting my toenails and you know that song hand to hold on to?
well, it's really not that outstanding within the context of the rest of the record.
so yeah, I'm pretty worried about that.

Sounds like a personal problem. You should check yourself in to a mental institution before you hurt yourself.

"hurting" oneself is common/to be expected.
it only becomes a problem when a "concerned" second or third party steps in.

if you were to purposely drop a masonry block on your face, rest assured...
I would not play the concerned bystander role.
if anything, I would rotate your baseball cap 180 degrees to assure clear impact.

Wrong.

1. I wouldn't be as stupid as you to do such
2. You would lose fingers trying to touch my baseball cap

ha.

1. so you're the exception huh? the owner of the immaculate temple, right?
2. lose? just because you grab my wrists and suck on my fingers while
looking deep into my eyes doesn't mean you are sucking out my intelligence.
I will know exactly where those fingers are. and I will also know where they
will end up. hint: end up.

real quick though, will you be offended if I chose to wear rubber gloves?

Why did Mike Bordin not play on the new Sabbath album? He used to be tight with OZzer. I suspect he's too busy writing shit with Bill and Roddy and Jon.

Late 90s: critics, press, charts and fans love FNM, so they play small venues, make no money, split up.

Now: during recession/austerity with no record sales, hardly any press and with fans now middle-aged and jaded, reformed FNM play sold out tours and festivals.

How the fuck does THAT work?

They believed they were making crappy music for some dumbass reason and were all diverting to side projects. Maybe it was the sales, but a solid following remained for years and bummed for the break up. Nothing wrong with side jobs, but, after getting all this crap out of themselves age caught up with them. They grew up and realized it was still fun and the fans still want them. Trick is to not rely on old fans or rely on pleasing new ones, just play have fun and record more shit for all fans!

Or: promoters from the UK offered loads of cash and when they accepted, other promoters around the world followed suit.

Weird fact: none of the new songs are registered with Phonographic Performance Ltd (PPL), so the band are either waiting to release a whole load of new material at once, or testing the waters - either way, playing the new songs did not earn them any money at Hyde Park/Poland.

(all their back catalogue are registered)
