The artwork on the New Album is not of Ritchie Edwards. It's a painting by Jenny Seville. It's been controversial here:

Ritchie Edwards' family were given the option of having him declared legally dead as he has been missing for so long. Nicky Wire agreed with the family that they should not do so. With regards to Ritchie's royalties, I'm not sure what the arrangement is, but in the event of his death, his next of kin would be entitled to his future royalties, as they've not declared him dead, that should in theory hold all fortunes for Ritchie upon his possible (albeit unlikely) return.
I'd neglected Generation Terrorists for so long. I put it on quite recently and was glad to rediscover it.
Gold Against The Soul is generally perceived by both fans and critics to be their weakest album (to include Ritchie Edwards). I'm inclined to agree, though I still like the album a great deal.
