I'm on a big Ralph Fiennes kick right now and I think he's becoming my favorite actor. That's judging from only three movies- Shiendlers List, Spider, and his Voldemort [sp] in the Potter series. There's a lot I haven't seen and it looks like he's done a lot of shit like Maid In Manhatten with J Lo, but so far he's blowing me away. I might rent Quiz Show tonight.

crispin glover, but has almost nothing at all to do with his acting. oh, and while we're on the actors subject, wtf is up with billy bob thorton? does he really hate interviews? is he bipolar? both? it's like... christ, man.

What's your favorite Glover role?
I love Willard and I really dug his role as Grendle in Beauwolf.

a friend of mine met crispin years ago when he was promoting one of his books. she had him sign her ear.

- Parker Posey (anything without vampires in it) - Faruza Balk (anything where she shows her freaky teeth) - Nick Nolte (anything where he is 60 or over and has a speaking role) - That Spanish guy who played Che Guevera as a youngster

Steven Halfpin who used to sit opposite me in the office is a good actor. He says he has Huntington's and that's why he gets so much time off work, but I can see through his ruse. He's fooled everyone else, but not me. He's good, but not great. That shaky fucker keeps spilling my tea too. No sympathy. He. Spills. My. Tea.
Cunt.

Rewatching "This Life" - the lassie who plays Milly - Amita Dhiri, she's fucking great. You ALWAYS get what she is thinking, her motivations. Very subtle.
The wife from Netflix' "House of Cards" has that too. A veneer of beauty over steel coated vulnerability. Just excellent.
Kevin Spacey, on the other hand, I just don't believe in.
