there were a lot of things in it that angered me,
but not for any reason directly aimed at my feeling cheated or let down by the film.
art affecting me in a "negative" way can often times bring about positive passion.
it's similar to the way I gravitate toward music that brings the wtf out in me.
I am still in training as far as becoming a leaf in the wind (aka accepting and not expecting)
when it comes to taking art in, but the final impression is well worth the preparation.

just saved this one to my queue

WWF champ Rob Van Dam introduces this grueling battle under the searing sun of the Nevada desert. Participants do more than walk through fire in this three-stage fight for survival: First, they duke it out in a barbed-wire ring; then, they're buried in the scorching sand; and finally, they're put in a fire-enshrouded barbed-wire coffin. In this strange twist on wrestling, anything goes. ...

After 30 minutes I turned off Man On Wire. Does it have a wild story shift that I need to check out? Or am I fine with seeing what I saw plus the trailer?
