I went to see this TWICE at the cinema, then made my mates watch in on video however many months later. A stupid work of genius.

I don't, as a matter of fact, but only because it's so gay.
I did like Dreamscape, though. If you'll recall, it was the first PG-13 movie released.

If the film had an subtlety or depth it wouldn't nominated for so many oscars. Cameron is and has been awful, I liked T2 when I was 14, but I also like Clan Dew whisky back then. Tastes evolve and change through maturity normally.

Have you been surfing parallel universes where films are written and directed to different tastes? Can you get me a copy of the Star Wars prequels that don't have politics, shite acting, terrible dialogue, Jar Jar, Portman, Darth going "nooooo" and Lucas nowhere near the damn franchise please?
Cameron is and has been awful, I liked T2 when I was 14, but I also like Clan Dew whisky back then. Tastes evolve and change through maturity normally.
So, todays 14 year olds will probably like it now, then have some critical reflux the same way in 2030?
If I were Jim Cameron I'd keep making films the way I did, it seems to work financially for everyone. Like him or not, stuff that sells, creates jobs, which is kinda important these days, compared to the artsy farty critique-provoking stuff that doesn't make jack shit*.
*Antichrist, I'm looking at you.
