did you see the DVD?
I heard the subtitles on the DVD are different from the theatrical release,
and that they take away from the movie, to folks who saw it on the big screen

Wait, the DVD subtitles actually induce some bizarre sort of localized amnesia?
"Well, they finally did it: They killed my fucking car."

I think the DVD I got had the good subtitles, it didnt have the obvious mistakes I read about.

Anyway, excellent movie. It's not at all what it appears to be on the surface - everything from the title to the 'love story' to the main characters are not what they seem. One minor complaint was the cgi cat part but other than that an almost flawless film.

"Let Me In" was way better then I thought it was going to be

I read that the director never saw the film he was americanising but instead went from the book.

It's got a different charm and is more standard horror but stands tall on it's own.
