Sade, Bataille

Read any? Any recommendations?
I recently read Justine, Bedroom and approaching 120 Days of Sodom.
Of Bataille: Story of the Eye, Accursed Share: this is the book where he pretends to be an economist, it's quite interestingly illegible.

Read Sodom, lots of poo eating. Sick enough to keep me interested in a 'where will he go next' way.

Need to get around to story of the eye, thanks for the reminder.

Just read Eye again recently. It's good...I suppose. Blue of Noon is also a good one, but it's more about his depressive madness than gore/sex, and I think a better book.

120 Days is amusing me quite a bit, but Justine is tops: it's fucking riveting.

Hmmm... Justine was included in the edition of Sodom I took out from the library. I didn't read Justine because I kinda wanted the book out of my house. I'll have to take it again I suppose.
