I don't think I've seen the same film more than half a dozen times. We were a film nut family growing up and my dad would often rent three films a night. He has a huge film collection and recently I purged over 2,000 vhs films from my personal collection. Because of the volumes involved, multiple viewings of the same film were rare. Films I've seen many times:

Adventures In Babysitting
Lethal Weapon
Star Wars
Bufallo 66
Die Hard
Spongebob Squarepants The Movie
Fargo
Miller's Crossing
Zulu
and all the Connery and Dalton Bond films.
Sharppie is my best friend.

oh, yeah!

I think I need to add Adventures in Babysitting to my 50+ category. back in the day when we first got cable, we would watch the same movie over and over, since the "premium" channels would only play the same four movies over and over.

let me edit. this movie may have also (subliminally) led me to a)my first "career" and b) have a "thing" for Thor. heehee

things are a little different when you add kids into the mix, right? They looove repetition.

I've seen, or listened to The Wizard of Oz way more than 100 times over the years. there was a period while I was watching the twin girls where it was looped on the tv for two or three months. We can all recite that one forward and backward.

I forgot Willy Wonka (still haven't sat through the remake), Race For Your Life Charlie Brown, Finding Nemo, and A Goofy Movie. 100+ category.

Monsters Inc. and A Bugs Life might be 50+ers.

the ones that i always find looped when i'm watching my nephews would either be 'cars' or some dirtbike stunt film. but we're usually outside on the dirtbikes anyway.

When I was a kid I never watched a movie over and over again like kids these days.
I couldn't listen to the same song over and over again. It's like how I am now. I enjoy remembering the songs or movies and putting my own spin on them.
There's something going on with kids now.

Is that a Van Damme movie? I probably have seen it, as my friends and I watched all the dumb action movies* on video in the 90s, but only the ones above have been given the benefit of repeat viewings.

Segal
Lundgren
Arnie

Should have put it next to that list of action stars starting with Stallone. In which case: *Stallone

I have watched Spy Hard and Airplane! a billion times as well. Can't believe I missed those.
