In Treatment

Post by Rick Cave »

I don't really like Gabriel Byrne so I thought I'd hate this show.
I was wrong. Well written. Good pacing. Only 30 minutes long.
And he uses his Irish accent.
His American accent is probably half the reason I hate most his movies.

Are they airing it yet overseas?

Haven't heard of it.

I've always like Byrne. There was a stage when I thought anything he was in couldn't be bad, until Man In The Iron Mask. He's gotten good again in the last three or four years.

I loved him in Shipwrecked aka his best film. Even better than Usual Suspects.

I really liked him in Miller's Crossing but this is my favorite thing he's done.
Him screaming at his nasty wife from Kalifornia? Brilliant.

Miller's Crossing is better than any other film ever mentioned on Bungle Fever...including my favourite films.

It's the reason I want to shoot Steve Buscemi in the face.
