As far as "stupid" comedy goes, you can't beat anything with Chris Farley.

The most surprisingly funny movie that I've ever seen is Corky Romano. I wasn't expecting anything from it, but I laughed all the way through it.

I must say, Caddyshack is one of the 'quintessentials' to be listed in the film thing. It'd be hard to list the funny films that have fucked my head. Lemmie write a list of BBC comedy series' and you'll get a list a few hundred hours deep.
