Cronenbergs The Fly..

my husband and i are arguing about this flick..

(especially after eastern promises)

i said the original had value..

he said the remake was WAY better..

(i liked both)

opinions?? thoughts??

i still remeber that little guys head on the fly getting crushed..

I think the remake is better. I love pretty much everything from Cronenberg, and The Fly is one of his best. That said, Im also a big fan of Vincent Price and old horror stuff.

The original has value AND the remake is much better.

Funny, I was just watching this this past weekend. I have the two-disc edition with a feature-length doc on the making of it, which is rather interesting in its own regard.

Anyway, I much prefer Cronenberg's to the original.

I also feel that Chris Walas's sequel is underrated.
