book
Finally finished Black Like Me. Some revealing historical stuff in there. Deeply flawed book, but I have hindsight and live in less troubled times. I'd still recommend the fucker.
Now reading Catch 22. This is a seriously funny book.

Catch-22 is a great freshman effort, but Something Happened has more polish, and more gravity.Nam Tsao";p="882739 wrote:Finally finished Black Like Me. Some revealing historical stuff in there. Deeply flawed book, but I have hindsight and live in less troubled times. I'd still recommend the fucker.

I've only read Catch-22 (many times and I can pretty much say it is my favourite read), my parents have both read others and found them to be utterly lacking. I trust them fairly well implicitly when it comes to books and as such I don't think I'll be trying Heller's other works any time soon.
