so-so...there was some good moments especially the school in the beginning but I got really sick of the "If we prove that we are truely in love then we can keep our organs!"

The book is awesome, but I saw the trailer for this and I do not want to see the film: it looks like it totally plays up the more sentimental aspects of the book
You never get the sense they are good looking in the book

Creepy Chinese film staring Bai Ling who I used to think was the hottest chick in shobiz. There'ssome corny dialog but it's pretty awesome. Reminded me of my comic Scrape.

This lives up to the hype. It's the grossest film I ever saw. The French are really fucked up. Great story and I loved the twist.

2 of the toughest genres combined , the dreaded "horror comedy" , usually these sort of things curl my toes , occasionally there have been exceptions , this was one of them . a lot better than i had thought it would be , actually funny at many points , even touching while being completely ridiculous at the same time :

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1465522/
the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.

Pet Sematary totally did
But I'm not sure the comedy was intentional

agreed , evil dead 2 wasnt so shabby either .

this one was special because the comedy was actually funny , and they didnt skimp on the gore . it was more of a "send up" , but i thought it worked very well .

tucker and dale vs evil , check that one out .
the finished product is just the garbage left over from doing the work.

I really loved watching that little girl kill all the gangsters in "Kick Ass"
Much better film then I expected.

Cage was in top form.

I don't know if it was because I wasn't expecting anything when I put it on or what, but I really enjoyed this a lot.
Maybe it's because I love how creepy realdolls are and this movie did a really great job making everybody look like one.
It gets a little silly in parts but overall I would give this a B or B+ if you were stoned.

love the car crash in that , it actually had a few "intense" spfx scenes that i felt really worked well at the time . there is another VERY similar one from right around that time , maybe "Gamer" or something like that , a real stinker ! almost like someone ripped off the original script .

OT , but , the best are those asylum releases ! i remember when micheal moore did his 911 movie , they had a counter point film released the same day or something . farenhype 911 . my buddys DUMB (no redeemable quality) bitch of a wife bought it for him at wall mart . it took him 20 minutes of watching it to figure out what was up .

Its called Alexandrea's Project. And don't read about it, just hit play.
The movie is really simple and the movie description kind of wrecks it.

It was quite enjoyable and comparable to other much loved kids films from when I was a kid. Star Wars and Harry Potter are not too dissimilar. A hatred for one and love for another is tantamount to cutting your legs off and buying a bike. It's purely a childish (not to mention superficial and snobbish) matter of an aesthetic preference.

They did a great job in making the series in my view. I'm no fan but they're kids films and kids will grow up loving them as we did with ours.

but does Harry Potter have a naked woman in a gold bikini chained to a massive slug? talking, walking dogs? burnt, scarred heads in crypto-nazi masks?
No, it has no nose, that's what. and Robbie Coltrane as the bearded lady. and that infantile john lennon impersonator.

I will leave it to the kids.

we dodged the whole hp bullet here .

i think we saw PART of one film , like satan worship training , kids flying around on brooms , playing a sport with a babys head or something demonic . my kids were rolling their eyes / cracking jokes about how lame the whole thing was .

i really dont TRY to impress upon my kids what is good or bad . they have exercised pretty good judgment on that themselves . i did see a picture of justin beeber on the wall here but i guess shrimp put it up cause she was teasing deet . i was so relieved ! now she has this obsession with john lennon , i guess it could be a lot worse .

Cowboys and Aliens was so-so fluff.
One of those films that you don't mind when you set the bar low.
