I disagree, I liked it all the way through. Good little action film a la "Shoot 'em up". Hollywood is going through a "let's make Ironic Action Movies!" phase right now, without actually garnering an understanding of what irony is.

Saw the Bill Hicks documentary. It's not great. Boring for non fans (apart from his live clips, which are ALL taken from his DVDs) and known stuff for any of his dedicated bio-reading fans.

Saw "A Single Man" on the weekend. Visually amazing. Every frame was a work of art. Loved the character. Best movie I've seen all year.

Sorry to lower the tone (which, granted, is something I do consistently  ), but is "hot tub time machine" actually any good?

I've heard good things and am sceptical.

Your answer should consider my hatred of Adam Sandler, "... Movie" series, most of Ben Stiller's and Mike Myers work and little interest in "The Hangover".

Sandler's not in Hot Tub Time Machine. Or Stiller or Myers.

The "You Don't Know Jack" biopic on Kevorkian was below so-so
It reminded me of HBO's "John Addams" where you were okay with watching it because at least you're learning something
Pacinco opted to not sound like his character whatsoever and instead played himself again

Just watched the Wanda Sykes stand up "Ima Be Me" on HBO On Demand and it was the hardest I've ever laughed from a comedy act. There was a least 20 awesome bits in there.

sure , we were crackin up a lot , my wife enjoyed it as well .

thanks . i wouldnt have noticed that , i was aware of the fact her stand up is good , for some reason though . did you see her gig at the white house ? its on youtube , and she used most of the jokes in her special as well , but i had checked that out the other day .

kinda behind the times when it comes to stand up .

the guy with the puppets is great though .

after seeing all the bill hicks stuff , not much compares though . he was great !

I never saw her at the white house- that sucks that she repeats the same material. It's not like a concert where you're pissed off if the band doesn't play your favorite song.

It's more like that girlfriend who repeats the same story over and over

i showed my daughters 30 seconds of youtube clips from that flick .

they returned in costume (in around 2 minutes) .
, reenacting around half the dialog from the film fairly accurately .

deet was the old lady , queeg was the kook .

that was awesome .

Legion was ridiculous. No internal logic. None of it made sense.

- Why did they climb that hill at the end?
- Why were the angels so foul-mouthed, if they were supposedly doing the work of God?
- Why was the kid so important to humankind? A John Connor type figure? If so, how was he even necessary when God changed His mind about exterminating humankind?
- Who were the prophets?
- Why did the protagonist magically get imprinted with Michael's tatts when he died?

Worst movie I've seen all (financial) year.
