I've already got Redux.
I'm not really sure that I need this.
$15 is pretty cheap though.

I might wait until this comes out on Blu Ray.

They'll come, they'll be cheaper and have less storage capacity, but is it necessary to have 45gb of storage (30 gb at present on HDVD) when a typical film recorded for HDef would take far less than 6gb? I really hope that neither succeeds, but if one has to, I hope its HDVD and not blu ray.

I would get Blu Ray for a discount.
So I'm for them.

There's no way they're going to use all the storage capacity.
Unless they put commentary tracks from the guys that toasted the bagels on the fouth day of shooting.

I see it as crap medium. Disc formats are already obsolete. You can get a 4 gig memory stick duo now. Thats a DVD capacity almost on something that's slightly larger than a postage stamp. No lasers, no skipping.

People are used to round flat things.
It would take a nuclear explosion to stop them from buying flat round things.

Redux is awesome.

Still my favourite movie of all time.

The creeping horror of the journey is captured perfectly, as it is in Heart of Darkness.

I don't get the whole 'Redux is teh inferior version' madness in some reviews....

It makes the whole experience flow much more smoothly..

Feels like a shorter film than the original IMHO..

I bloody missed it at the cinema, though... :(

Redux is beautiful.
You have to make a day of it though.

You'd think they'd include Hearts of Darkness (the docco) with it too. Thats ace, especially for the footage of Martin Sheen having the drug induced mental break down / heart attack.

I want to see a 13 year old Charlie Sheen crying at his bedside.

Those people are thieves and whores.
They'll buy anything that has a commercial with happy rotoscoped people dancing.

Oath.
The Doco is larger than the movie itself...
