Huh?

I'm like a math genius at my school because I figured out what 516 X 2 is... IN MY HEAD.

She wouldn't be the first. Or incorrect.

I gotta fix that second one. Pushed the colors waaaaaaaay to far on that...

These are all pure fucking around with Camera Raw, by the way. I'm noticing that just like with film, you can cool results via poor exposures and then processing to compensate... or just processing a good exposure in some weird way anyway...

digital = the shit

Have you ever noticed the number of comparisons photography gets with music? Or the number of photographers with either an intense interest in music or music as a side project? Ansel was a concert pianist (or maybe just tried to be one, in any case he studied it)... W. Eugene Smith spent all his time listen to jazz guys rehearse in his loft... there's a whole bunch of others I can't think of right now...

Music of course has nothing to do with math at all...

I should mention that these are all pretty extreme crops... many of them where oriented the other why originally.

I should have put a  on that statement.

Music, as we all know, is a sequence of ones and zeros...

My pics have little to do with anything. Hence the null.

well.. i could see that it was a dog..
i was confused as to why the photo looks the way it does..
i just realized that all that white is a building correct?
the lines on top are the shingles?

earlier i had no idea what that was..

Correct.

The sun was shining directly on the building... I exposed for the dog... leaving the building completely blown out...

The shadows of the shingles are darker than the dog.

The one little section is there because those shingles are shaded by another (higher) segment of the roof.
