Att: Sydney folks

I'm coming up from Melbourne for the free show at the Domain on 14 January. Show starts at 8pm.

What time do you recommend I arrive to ensure a very decent position to watch the show?

Grazie!

Go early and check out the other bands Tango Saloon and Brous from around 6pm... You'll hopefully get a decent spot then - two birds, one stone.

I reckon if you arrive there 5pm on Friday afternoon you should be able to reserve a good spot for me front & centre. Prego!

I am just a little bit sick of hearing about Mike Patton's guido throwback irrelevance machine. I am Italian and I don't fucking care. Boring. Do something that takes guts, risk and effort. We are all amazed that he can speak another language and watch movies and then record noises to go with them. So impressed.

last night was big fun!
Lovely to see some bf faces not seen for a while including Mr Judasmuppet and Monsieur Spoon - big thanks to Mr Viperfish for the great spot, Chan for the unbeatable sticker, Luis for the lift to the pub and Brettles for generally being his gorgeous self :D

Mondo Cane came on, did three songs and then a gargantuan, twenty minute bucket of water was thrown over Sydney. Shrieking violinists fled the stage in horror with their $80k instruments and cowered in the trenches out back as Mike the rest of the orchestra powered on for one more and then also buggered off for 20 minutes.
Didn't dampen the enthusiasm though - everyone was on great form, the atmosphere was fantastic, even though we were all drenched down to our jock straps. They did come back and play on, and it was wonderful.

Good times - and two more to come at the State Theatre this week

The Domain show was superb. The rain just made the show all the more memorable. Whole lotta love in the air last night.

I got there at around midday, sat back and watched the full rehearsal too.

The band was staying at the same hotel I was and I had little small talk (in Italian!) to the guitarist, Alessandro, and the three backing singer ladies.

I want to see Mondo Cane continue I hope Patton moves on to an entirely new set of songs in the future. Love it!

You caught some brilliant moments. Honestly, this is the best set of Mondo Cane photographs I have seen over the years.

Top stuff CB!

Just contacted Melbourne Festival people and told them to look into Mr Bungle for October this year.

My request was noted.

Now we wait. :|
