Well, Sydney was rather stunning - they played for two hours, did Groundhog Day, Harold, Grapevine, Blue CollarTweekers, Over the Falls, Golden Boy, and a host of other golden greats. I managed to squeeze over the railings in front of Ler and idled away an hour or so receiving fully clothed robotic anal sex from a group of lads behind me. The set didn't seem like two hours, so when they did Jerry and Too Many Puppies as an encore and then walked off, we thought there would be another encore. All we got for our trouble were the house lights, so they got booed. Fackem, that was a brilliant night - even the Melvins were great.

So I wrung out my T-shirt, went to the pub and had a beer. Thank you Mr Viperfish for the lift back to woop woop

Melbourne show was fab too - weird in a seated venue but I was at the end of a row and stood up and danced like a twat all night.
I have little recollection of what they played, I don't care, it was glorious, as was Soundwave.

An odd thing, cos I loved the Claypool solo last year knowing nothing of it.

Primus did nothing for me this year, at the solo or at Soundwave. At the solo (which we had filthy good seats for, though I loathe seats) I thought it might just have been that the melvins rocked my socks off a lot more, but the next day soundwave did the same thing.

I'm almost upset to say, but Primus left me limp. Ler was completely bored by the whole affair and the energy just seemed lacking.

Invitation to criticism: Those 2 melvins shows were the second best thing I'll see all year after Black Mountain a couple o' weeks back.

Totally fucking glad you had a good time though. The pure excitement in your face was lovely.

aww.

That's okay, Melvins do the same for me as Primus did for you, for me and the friend I brought with me to Primus at Sydney walked out after about four songs. At least we both had a great night for different reasons

I enjoyed Primus...but they did generally leave me feeling a little flat, especially at their Sidewave. Melvins however rawked my sawks off both nights...best I've seen them, and infinitely more entertaining than Primus...

That's my stupid opinion.

You should argue with yourself. That would be fun.

See, That was fun. Now ask yourself why I would send you a picture. Then, after the realization, bang your head onto concrete for not downloading the ones I posted previously.

I never said a thing about "sending me a pic", quickdraw.
what I said was (and continue to say is) POST a pic.
not just for me, but for anyone here who has the stomach to look.
now ask yourself why you have the reading comprehension skills of a wet cigar.

you're right. I let a golden ship sail right by.
can I just bang my head onto the desk? it's raining outside and I didn't even go to work today.

If you open your mouth and place it snug on the curb as if you were biting into a sandwich, my foot could help you out.
