Bush to be stripped of Heisman
Former Southern Cal running back Reggie Bush will be stripped of his 2005 Heisman Trophy, according to an online report.
Bush would become the first player in the 75-year history of the award to be penalized in that fashion. The NCAA found major violations in the USC football program in June, resulting in sanctions.
Two sources close to the Heisman Trophy Trust told Yahoo Sports their investigation is coming to a close and will concur this month with the NCAA’s ruling that Bush was ineligible in 2005.
Sources said the honor for that season will remain vacant. Tejas quarterback Vince Young finished second in the voting, but Bush had a huge advantage (784 to 79) in first-place votes.
Bush reportedly met with Heisman representatives last month, though details of that meeting are unknown. In July, the school administration announced USC would return its copy of Bush’s Heisman to the trust.
The status of USC’s 2004 Bowl Championship Series title remains to be determined. BCS officials are awaiting the NCAA’s ruling on the Trojans’ appeal of the NCAA sanctions

Lou Reed reportedly refuses song rights to Susan Boyle, makes her cry
Lou Reed has refused Susan Boyle permission to perform his 1972 serenade “Perfect Day”—reducing the Scottish songbird to tears, and crushing the dream she dreamed.
Boyle was reportedly forced to cancel a performance on America’s Got Talent after Reed denied rights to the song, because she did not have time to arrange for another one. (No “Wild Horses” in the wings?)
According to a source who spoke to London’s Daily Mail, “Susan is very sensitive and is genuinely upset. This has really knocked her confidence… She was in a car on the way to the studio when she was told the news and was totally devastated. She’s now at LAX Airport sobbing her heart out.”

Re: highlight of your day?
damn i have been playing this game non stop for 4 days . its really something else !never played a game that just kicked my ass this hard . sure the graphics look like wolfenstien 1d , sure its fuckin harder than crap , sure youd be lucky to make it thru the first night even with a walk thru , minecraft is THE SHIT .
the space heater tripped the circuit breaker this morning and the pc crashed . it took me 3 plus hours to restore the "world" that i built . i am thrilled i got it back .woulda hated to start from scratch!!!! even though that restore process fucked up the world like you wouldnt believe , but , i had a bunch of structures and a grow room under 3 layers of glass . . . the fucking tree's wouldnt grow but i got some wheat going.
finally got some diamonds (8) , and some red ore , ch-ching !!!!! i can start chilling and maybe get ahead a lil .
coolest video game i ever played by far , and its not finished , i will have to fork out some cash . i always do when the game is worth playing , but , , , thats very rare .
if you want i would rapidshare this shit , but , , , its not easy to wrap your head around , really ugly , super difficult , and obviously not for everyone (this means you) and its java based .

Re: highlight of your day?
just took some hot laps at laguna seca in my boss's 62 chevelle. broke it loose through the hairpin, feathered the throttle to keep it out of the gravel trap and got an awesome run into turn three. bombing through the corkscrew with waaaaaaay too much horsepower is fucking ass tickling fun. nearly ran over the dude in front of me through the straight, he saw me coming and got the fuck out of the way.
