Re: favorite Pandora stations

Great stations that I didn't have to do any filtering on:

- The Kinks
- The B-52's

both play a huge variety of artists, but keep in step with the original seed.

Don't do Johnny Cash unless you really want to hear three artists on repeat.

I love the body-posture in that movie poster. It looks like Arnold is the goofy cousin nobody wants in the family portrait.

I didn't even notice that 'abides'. It's not like the Coens coined the word, either.

I don't know what you're talking about re: the second half. I couldn't tear my eyes away.

Re: Recent films. A very brief opinion.

the fact that you thought there was any "wink wink nudge nudge" means you didn't get the film.

And the fact that you were bored means you haven't seen any classic Westerns.

Re: Recent Books that aint 'Arry Potter.

Just finished Perfume by Patrick Suskind - absolutely glorious read. Dark and funny, very richly dramatised stark view of what a bunch of dumb, useless, stench-riddled fucks humans are. Sort of like L'Etranger with Old Spice. the movie's pretty great, too. ugh french setting with brit accents? cmon...
