Nice and nasty black comedy/satire. Katie Holmes was great, and Aaron Eckhart the most perfectly cast guy since Christian Bale in American Psycho.

Sharp, snappy script, good solid cast and fantastic touches from the likes of Rob Lowe - funny stuff.

Short Cuts gets the Hollywood treatment but there are some wonderful moments and the film overall is a great yarn. Tom Waits is particularly fab.

I love wine I do. With white, I say you can't go wrong with a Marlborough Sauv Blanc, a Hunter Valley Semillon (especially Poole's Rock, Saddler's Creek, even Allendale or Tempus Two).
