I liked the comic series Y: The Last Man last year, until I couldn't afford them anymore.

I think I'm going to read the book, just so I can have even more justification for hating this film.

I haven't read it. It's one of those ones I have no intention of ever doing so either.

I'd go and watch the movie for a laugh, though.

Can't help. Never read any of them.

I'm getting to the point of the semester where I really should stop reading stuff that isn't on the curriculum. But yeah, after a failed Proust attempt, I just started a book that Mitch might currently be reading.

Tristram Shandy

What a self-indulgent piece of arse. Dylan Moran was one of the few saving graces.

I'm really glad I haven't read the book, or I reckon I'd be really upset about it.

You are totally correct, however so slow.

I think they're on the second season on SBS at the moment. Not as good as the first. Not enough "You fear jazz..." moments.

A film that was in production before the book on which it was based was even published was bad?

I'm truly maintaining you can finish second this year. Arsenal are the form team of the league right now, in the midst of one of their little sublime runs they put together once or twice a season. Tie this in with the fact that Chelsea are horribly depleted defensively and their midfield is sufferin...

Roark, real life can go blow a goat. Update time, I guess. I'm about halfway through Mason & Dixon , and as I've remarked upon elsewhere on bbs-land, I think it's my favourite Tom Pynchon novel I've read thus far. Great writing at its most addictive, page-turning best. I'm kind of simultaneously...

The commentators during the Pompey match the other night were on about Mendes and Davis as players Tottenham should be feeling foolish to have lost. Apparently being able to field four different midfield lineups isn't enough.
