So I went to France and didn't visit a single vineyard. Some locals at the supermarket helped me choose some bottles that were just two euros each, but they insisted they were good local wines. I thought "this will be some ropey shit" but upon trying them back home, they'd rank up there wi...

:lol:What does geography have to do with being a true fan or not? Does being Welsh preclude me from being a fan of Faith No More, Italian Cuisine or English Literature? Should I restrict my listening habits to those artists from Wales, my culinary preferences to Gwyr cockles and Glamorgan sausages a...

James Lawton: Wenger's revolution lays down test of loyalty for Arsenal fans Saturday, 30 August 2008 Wenger would rather concentrate on developing the talent of young players - and educating them in the values of the club - than seeking a short-term gain by buying in expensive, big name players We...

If I were a Spurs fan I wouldn't be too dejected. It can take a while for new signings to "bed in".

Speaking of which. Delighted with Nasri. It's like he's played for us for years. Reminds me of the immediacy of impact that Sagna had for us last year at the other end of the pitch.

Yesterday had a pasta salad. Simple one with penne, no cheese, with tomato cooked in basil,. oregano and simmer with bay leaves and then refrigerated over night. Very nice hearty summer's day lunch. I forgot to eat after that and didn't eat breakfast either. Might grill some haloumi and have that sa...

I agree. There's no better single player FPS on the 360 that comes close apart from Half Life 2 Episode 2 and that fdalls way short. Graw 1 and 2 are worth a look but Bioshock is on another playing field completely. mass Effect is fantastic. The IGN review flawed the games combat dynamics, but if yo...

Well three hours until i toddle off with the kids to watch Arsenal play Juventus. It;s going to be a cracker. Wiltshie is going to play and I can;t wait to see him like I did Sagna and Traore last year who completely amazed me. FYI - good link for up and coming players. http://youngguns.wordpress.com/

I just try to think of extremely convoluted ways of fucking people up. Last one I cam up with was that I enchanted a dagger to give it's victim health regeneration and a warhammer that destroys weapons. Now, meet a bastard and drop the enchanted dagger on the floor, bash him with the hammer until hi...

Wiltsheer's goal tonight. Wonderful composure. Highlight was Vela and Bendnter's tag team. First goal by Vela after a wonderful assist by B. Then B played a 1-2 with Vela and too the ball of Boulerouz and slotted past Lehmann. Great performance. Eboue as Defensive Midfielder was a revelation, and ma...

Yes. He's in an impossible position though. Too good for the reserves, not experienced enough for the 1st team, same as Merida and Barazite. All three need Premiership loan spells.

We've made our final signing too. Amaury Bischoff signed today.
