Why would you buy a less than quality Final Fantasy offshoot when you dislike the far superior original series?

I FOUND a Hammer at a train station once.
It was one of those tiny hammer's, JUST big enough to hammer in a small nail.
The train station was near my friends new place, so I gave it to them as a housewarming present.
