This one for me, and the first album in general, though I am in no way across their entire discography.

Lorelei on Treasures is second.

No, wait, everything on Garlands is #1, Lorelei is second.

Re: Kabob is sick and we need your help

So sorry guys. You did everything you could and more, being there is the most important thing. It took me 4 years before I could think about getting another cat. She died at 19 (got her when i was 4). When I finally bit the bullet, my new little big man imprinted on 3 humans, 4 dogs, 2 ducks and a c...

Re: Recent films. A very brief opinion.

Fish Story. Not super recent, 09 release but fuckit. My new favourite film. Comet about to hit earth, Japan is evacuated, one indie record store remains open where the owner believes an obscure 70s punk record will save the world. Unconnected flashbacks show him to be correct. Comedy/Drama/Action/Sc...

Re: Korn

The internet has evolved and devolved a great deal. I know, shocking to me too! You could undoubtably hear the whole album on youtube. Or one might look into 'torrenting'. Or, one mayhap, could, possibly, somehow forego the utterly painful process of listening to an album by Korn and listen to just ...

I've been on the docco binge lately. Mostly of the flavour "people who take incredibly inconsequential things insanely seriously". Please forgive if already posted. I Think We're Alone Now - Following two insane superfans of the pop sensation Tiffany. The Dungeon Masters - Follows 5 D&D fans America...

Yeah, loving it. Just started season 3. Re-watching Alan Partridge as well. Never gets old for me. Have you seen the movie yet, Mobes? Not yet. We're working out when we can do a mass 10+ people scheduled viewing of it. Can I just tell you it's from Barbara Canepa and Anna Merli's comic 'End'? Cane...

Re: older television series revisited

For something similar i recommend The Heart She Holler, theres 2 seasons of it out now, short 15 minute eps. It's made by the guys that did Wondershowzen, Xavier and The Hands of God. It's set in a backwater southern US town and it is truly disgusting and surreal. Stars Patton Oswalt. If you've ever...

if on the off chance you've not done Psychoville yet. Please do. Second season gets even more out of control than the LOG Christmas episode with the vampire pedo priest that turns kids into vampires by sodomizing them.

In the last two weeks I've watched 129 episodes of E.R. Still a while before I get into seasons I've not seen before. For what it is, it is really well made.

I believe it was TISM/Regurgitator/The Fauves at Festival Hall in 1998. A perfectly proud gig to be at.

(first was Silverchair on the Freakshow tour 97)

Saw 'em tonight. Pretty spectacular.

Rather pissed off though, they had Tomahawk vinyl box sets for $40, but that musta only had 6 copies, I got right onto the merch stand and the dude in front got the last one. Poppycock

They're my favourite band. Only band I'm actually a 'collector' of. I've been hoarding for 4 years now. When I got a promotion at my job many years ago I hit a rare record shop and spent $400+ on TISM. Nothing was rare at release, but getting it now gets expensive. I've even got both issues o...
