Re: Dubyastep
I made a dubstep track once. Placed a microphone inside my off-balance washing machine and hit record.

You guys are so lucky. Best double header I could imagine myself going to. Those fucks better do an Auckland show or I will stop buying their records and download them... oh wait.

Anything to share regarding the setlists? Was it all new? Was the band loud enough for Giras voice?
also Sasha Grey?

Bohren & der Club of Gore
Thoughts anyone? Just getting into them and I rate it so far. Great dark jazz tunes for past the midnight hour. It plods. DL links: http://www.warez-bb.org/viewtopic.php?t=1015738&highlight= "Bohren & der Club of Gore is a band founded in 1992 in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany by Thorsten...

Perhaps the original poster can offer me some more ORIGINAL alternatives in the same vein as the Melvins, John Zorn or Ween.

Re: RIP Mark Linkous (sparklehorse)
I have no problem with people committing suicide, in fact if that makes them happy they should do it. What annoys me is that they devalue that which major frustrations in my life are caused by my attempting and failing to obtain: thus I wish death upon them for devaluing with their deliberate death...

You will be rewarded greatly and then this news will make you sadder. All the albums have something to offer but his last two are probably the best to start out. He has collaborated with Wayne Coyne (Flaming Lips) on a few occasions.

RIP Mark Linkous (sparklehorse)
I have alot of respect for Mark Linkous' visionary albums. This news makes me pretty sad, as much so as when Elliot Smith died. Great tunes for listening to after hard times... RIP mark. http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2010/03/06/sparklehorses-mark-linkous-takes-own-life/ http://www....

here is more information straight from his Young Gods website: About reconstituting Swans: As I mentioned in a previous newsletter, there was a point a few years ago during a particular show when I was on tour with Angels Of Light, with Akron/Family serving as the backing band. It was during the son...

For me this would be the most appreciated reformation ever. Most underrated, consistently good band i can think of. No Jarboe (or at least very little) i hope... I think she trys to hard.

Mew would be a cool opener. Probably better than Nails.

Just listened to the whole thing then. I would say its the best Patton release since 'Directors Cut', and that's from only one listen. Sounds like the best bits from Tomahawk, Fantomas, Kaada and even maybe a little of Radiohead's 'Kid A' fused together. Tiny bit of SOAD in there too. Not a 10/10 th...

Re: The Bored As Fuck BF Virtual Record Crate
Insulin, I know you'd prefer to keep the chatter down in this thread and I respect that... but the cover you posted? I can do that in freakin' PSP... how the fuck did they do that back then? Not looking for an answer, but I always wondered about that every time I saw that album cover. I amagine tha...
