Re: Tomahawk
Was Trompe Le Monde not The Pixies swan song? Was Terror Twilight not Pavement's swan song? And while were here, wouldn't it have been better if Down on the Upside was Soundgarden's swan song?
Re: Tomahawk
Reiterating the literal meanings of words doesn't mean a lot and misses the essence somewhat. Faith No More released six albums between 1985 and 1997. They broke up in 1998. Their last album before the break up was Album of the Year. They reformed in 2009 as old men for a bunch of shows to put some ...
Re: Tomahawk
Album of the Year WAS their last album, it's pretty hard to argue that.
They have reunited to tour and make cash, they are not "resurrected".

Re: Tomahawk
First post in aaaages just to point out that notHuman needs to find out what "Swan Song" means, because Album of the Year was indeed Faith No More's swan song.

Re: So Jerry Only made an album ...
Just ignore them, no Danzig = no Misfits. I regrettably saw the new "Misfits" live a while back and it was just awful.
One thing I would love to see is that Danzig show where he is doing one misfits set followed by a Samhain set followed by a Danzig set. But...I live in New Zealand.

He was the most recent Pitchfork Guest List interviewee. When asked what the Best Recent Concert he has been to is, he answers:
"Best show I've seen recently was Mr. Bungle, many years ago."
