Re: General Yid Chat
I genuinely felt sorry for Carlton Cole yesterday. God, I've become a soft touch.

Two guys with a star next to them on my bench. Serves me right for expecting Gerrard and Torres to rip Tottenham to shreds.

Re: General Yid Chat
Palacios was so, so, so good. We recruited him as a holding midfielder but his game on the weekend was one of the finest box-to-box displays I've seen. Deserved a goal too.
Keane is starting to worry me.

Re: General Yid Chat
Our striking options are probably too strong to play a 4-4-1-1. With Defoe's preseason form to go with the fact that Redknapp's going to be playing Robocrouch no matter what, our strongest lineup is probably going to be a 4-4-2. We all saw how much better we were when Modric had two forwards in fron...

Re: General Yid Chat
So apparently Danny Rose has been ripping it up in preseason and may well offer an option for that cursed left-wing position. Thank God we dodged the Downing bullet. Maybe we could look at Adam Jonhson in January if he's had a good few months down in the Fizzy League. Naughton seems like a good buy,...

Re: 2009 - 2010 Bunglefever Premier League
I've found so many bargains it's not funny, but I guarantee the ones I can't fit in are going to be the equivalents of Geovanni, Ireland and Bosingwa last season.

If you can guess which Hammers player I have in my team, Joey, you win a prize. This year should be better without the Cron. It allows people to have more diverse and ambitious sides.

Re: General Yid Chat
Looks like Pav has as good as packed his bags after storming down the tunnel after being subbed. Where do we find these idiots? Ghaly, Chimbonda and now this guy. Bentley's gorn as well. Gutierrez has been ok, I guess, but I don't want him until he's been elsewhere for a year or two and get that Geo...

Re: Chopper
I would probably advise against reading the books. The speech Chop makes at the end in the TV interview at the end is completely on the mark. He can't write at all. It's one of Melbourne's great little things that pretty much everyone has at least one semi-funny anecdote after running into the guy. ...

Re: General Yid Chat
Ekotto's been really handy. I've not liked him over the journey, but credit where it's due. He played well on the Cron in the Cup Final and kept Milner completely out of the game last week. Palacios's introduction is a factor, though. His covering for Modric when he goes walksies from the left has b...

Re: star trek remake
I did not know this, but now that I do, I'm not surprised. Of course, being the original Enterprise, it would have been constructed on at Earth Station McKinley in Earth's orbit, if we were in the 24th century of course, Federation vessels are commissioned from the Utopia Planetia shipyards. I've n...

Yeah, good call.
I was tempted. But having he and Modric in my side together was tempting fate, I thought. Here's to a hopeful Shredding Of Sunderland on the weekend for both real and fantasy purposes.

On a side note, is Red Alert 3 the one with Ric Flair being beaten up by a guy in a bear suit?
